To improve the thinking capacity and the usefulness/productivity of the chronically poor by improving the "nourishment of the body.

The Candlelight Foundation recognizes that the level of abject poverty is on the increase in Nigeria. Not just among the lowest levels of society, but there is an increase in the level of hunger among the working poor.

To repair and replenish a Nigerian workforce one stomach at a time; leading to a more effective state, individually and economically.
